Collaborations

The TVPLab works with many other research institutes and laboratories across the globe to achieve our goals of producing world-leading research in the field of metabolism. Here is a sample of the collaborations we form part of right now:

Dr. Thomas Krieg, Addenbrooke's Centre for Clinical Investigation - Cambridge, United Kingdom

We are collaborating with Dr. Krieg's team as part of our cardiometabolic programme of research, investigating the impact of metabolic dysregulation on the pathogenesis and progression of heart failure.

Prof. Roger Foo, Genome Institute of Singapore - Singapore, Singapore

Arpita Mukhopadhyay, Ph.D, Molecular Physiology Lab, Division of Nutrition, St. John’s Research Institute, Bangalore, India

The Molecular Physiology lab is interested in understanding human metabolism and its pathophysiological manifestations in obesity, metabolic syndrome, and type 2 diabetes mellitus. We utilize multiple omics-based and classical tools to delineate the regulators of metabolism, obesity and glycaemic control in Indians. Our work is supported by the DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance Intermediate Fellowship and other funding agencies, including the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
