Profile

Studies adipose tissue expansion and lipotoxicity, focusing on zinc-finger proteins that regulate adipogenesis and their potential as targets for obesity and related metabolic complications.

Research focus

My research focuses on understanding the mechanisms controlling adipose tissue expansion and lipotoxicity. Particularly I am interested in exploring the role of Zinc-finger protein family members (ZFP) in adipogenesis and assessing their value as therapeutical targets against obesity and its metabolic comorbidities.
