Visiting Entrepreneur
Helps identify opportunities to translate TVPlab discoveries into commercial applications, drawing on experience in cell biology and cell technologies across biotechnology and pharmaceutical research.
Dr Rodrigo Santos is a Visiting Entrepreneur at the TVP Lab with the goal to identify commercial and translation opportunities within the group. He has deep expertise in cell biology and the development and application of innovative cell technologies across biotech and pharma.
Rodrigo is an Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) at Cambridge Innovation Capital (CIC). Prior to joining CIC as an EiR in 2026, Rodrigo was CTO of clock.bio. His biotech experience spans roles including EiR at Novo Holdings, Director of Cell Technologies at Mogrify, Head of Technology at bit.bio, and Principal Scientist at Horizon Discovery.
He actively contributes to the scientific community through multiple Scientific Advisory Boards and entrepreneurship mentoring programmes.
Rodrigo completed his PhD at the Stem Cell Institute, University of Cambridge.
