Profile

Research Assistant based at HLRI, working with Dr. Sonia Rodriguez-Fernandez on adipose tissue biology and metabolism, with experience in stem-cell differentiation and organoid models.

Short introduction

I am a biomedical researcher with experience in cell culture, stem-cell differentiation, organoid models, and molecular biology techniques. My work has involved protein analysis, immunostaining, microscopy, laboratory stock management, and the preparation of SOPs and research documentation. I am particularly interested in applying these skills to research on adipose tissue biology, metabolism, and metabolic disease.

Role and location

I am a Research Assistant based at the Heart & Lung Research Institute (HLRI), working with Dr. Sonia Rodriguez-Fernandez.

Research interests

  • Stem-cell biology and differentiation
  • Organoid and 3D cell-culture models
