​About me​

​

I am a Research Assistant at the IMS-MRL (Institute of Metabolic Science – Metabolic Research Laboratories), where I support ongoing projects in adipose tissue biology and lipid metabolism. My background is in Biomedical Sciences, with hands-on experience in stem cell culture, molecular biology, ELISA, microscopy, and metabolic phenotyping. I am particularly interested in the molecular mechanisms governing lipid droplet dynamics, mitochondrial function, and macrophage lipid remodelling in obesity and type 2 diabetes. At the TVP Lab, I contribute to experiments that investigate how systemic and cellular lipid flux impacts metabolic disease progression.
